This was one of those very rare occasions in photography where everything comes together. Light subject, moment. I couldn'd believe it. I made a series of photos and Im sure I'll get to the blog post soon enough so you can see more from the series. It was a shoot till the lights gone moment.
The storm clouds, the setting sun. The old abandoned building, the combine harvester in the background, not to mention the back drop of the mountains. It all just came together.
I was using my Fujifil X100vi here. First trip away with it to Spain to photograph a wedding. I felt a little bit naked leaving my Sony gear and selection of G-Master Lenses in the air B&B and only heading out with my X100VI. I had been playing with Fujifilm film recipes, I was new to it and had spent maybe twenty minutes on the plane setting up this profile. Its made using the nostalgic neg film profile, that Fujifilm offers in their newer cameras. I thinks its come out well.
